Arsenal host Hull City at home today in the Premier League today, a win will see the Gunners climb one place just behind North London rivals Tottenham. Arsenal have a great record against the East Midlands club with Wenger’s side unbeaten in the last 13 meetings (W11, D2).
Bellerin was a doubt for the game however he returns to the starting line-up after suffering a blow to the head in Arsenal’s defeat to Chelsea last weekend. Mohamed Elneny also comes back into the squad after returning from the African cup of nations.
Line Up: Cech, Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Coquelin, Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi, Sanchez.
Subs: Ospina, Monreal, Gabriel, Elneny, Lucas, Welbeck, Giroud.
Wenger has decided to opt with Sanchez up top instead of Giroud, fielding an attacking line up. However lots of Arsenal fans will be disappointed to see both Perez and Welbeck on the bench, although they’ll be able to come on later in the game and make an impact if the Gunner’s need it.
Chamberlain starts again in the middle of the park, a role which he has played in the last few games and one that he’s starting to look familiar in.
The Gunners really need to get the three points today and will hopefully start the game properly instead of the slow starts we’ve seen in recent weeks.
