Liverpool 4 – Arsenal 0: Player Ratings

posted in: Player Ratings | 2

That makes it two successive defeats for the Gunners. To start with the line-up was all wrong, why Wenger can’t manage to play his players where they are meant to is beyond me. doesn’t even want to be at the club so why our new signing isn’t playing on the left-hand side and Bellerin at the rate is amazing. The second half only got worse…

Petr Cech – 7
Made a good save in the first half to keep it at 0-0. However, he couldn’t do anything about the following two which happened soon after. Couldn’t really do anything about the third either

Rob Holding – 5.5
Returned to the after being left out last week. It wasn’t just him that was poor today it was the whole of the back five, don’t think we’ll be seeing three centre backs for a while.

Laurent Koscielny – 6.5
Glad to see him back in the starting line up, but he didn’t seem to do much reassuring with the number of goals we conceded.

Nacho Monreal – 5.5
Part of the poor defensive, but he didn’t make too many personal mistakes but there was a considerable difference between him and Laurent.

Hector Bellerin – 5
Managed to clear it off the line so that the Gunners didn’t concede another, but that was one of the only positives he produced in the ninety minutes. It was his mistake that leads to the Salah goal.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 3
Looks like he didn’t want to get injured so he could pass his medical that he’s most likely to be taking in the next couple of days. Why Wenger decided to even start him is beyond me.

Granit Xhaka – 5
Very poor from him in the last few games, his mistake led to one of the goals.

Aaron Ramsey – 5
Really, really poor! No wonder he got took off at half time. Hardly tracked back even though he was meant to be commanding the midfield.

Mesut Ozil – 5.5
Gave away the ball numerous times, looked like he wasn’t too bothered till he came in with a crunching tackle and earned himself a yellow.

Alexis Sanchez – 6.5
You’ve got to consider that he hasn’t played football in two months and he was thrown right into this game. Of which he was one of the best players in an Arsenal shirt, which wasn’t much of an achievement.

Danny Welbeck – 6
Only managed the one shot throughout the entire game. Although, unlike other players, i feel like he actually put an effort in for the full 90.

Francis Coquelin – 6.5
Olivier Giroud – 6
Alexandre Lacazette – 6.5

No Arsenal players deserve to get above 4o percent as rating they were all useless and playing nonsense

The major arsenal was Wenger to resign honorably…… Otherwise the team will keep on getting worse
