The Young Guns hope of reaching the final of the FA Youth Cup are over as the Gunners only managed to secure a draw at the Emirates this evening. The game finished 2-2, however it was not enough as Manchester City won 4-3 on aggregate.

Arsenal were quick off the pace when the 18 year old, Chris Willock opened the scoring on six minutes. However the lead was short lived as City managed to score through Brahim Diaz and Rodney Kongolo before the half-time whistle.

Arsenal managed to pull back an equaliser through a Donyell Malen header, with the former Ajax player only coming onto the field a few minutes earlier. However it soon turned sour for the Gunners as they were awarded a red card for defender Marc Bola with 15 minutes remaining.

Although it was disappointing night for the U18’s there were certainly a few players such as: Krystian Bielik and Joseph Willock who had an impressive game.
