Wenger - I’m Certainly not resting Ozil and Sanchez for Bayern game

With Arsenal playing German Champions Bayern Munich tomorrow in what looks to be a must win game, the Arsenal manager was questioned about the availability of certain players. Brazilian centre back Gabriel was replaced by Mertersacker for the Gunners 3-0 win against Watford at the weekend due to injury, however it looks like he will be back for the midweek clash.

We have Gabriel back available, he is the only player back available. Everybody has recovered from our game on Saturday so it is nearly the same squad.

With Ospina having started the last Champions League match, however it looks like he won’t be starting this match as he looks set to miss the game with a shoulder problem:

Ospina is out injured. He came back from Colombia with a shoulder problem and he is out.

With the Gunners sitting second place in the league but bottom of their Champions League groups, it has been suggested by some that Arsenal should be putting all their efforts into the domestic campaign, however Wenger doesn’t seem to agree when asked if Ozil and Alexis should be rested:

No. You would be surprised if I told you that I would rest them tomorrow, so I can tell you certainly not. Normally they should play tomorrow.
